It has a 3.2 millimeter-thick aluminum body and Starflon Premium nonstick internal coating. Recommendations for use: Before first use, wash with a soft sponge and mild soap or liquid detergent. After drying, grease the internal surface with oil or fat and heat it for one or two minutes. Allow to cool and then wash again. Your Starflon utensil is now ready for use, with or without oil, and always on low or medium heat (never over 260 °C / 500 °F). Only use silicone, nylon, or wood utensils to stir food. This product requires only cleaning and no maintenance.
Cleaning: Avoid immersing hot utensils in cold water. Never use abrasive products when washing. For burnt food, soak the area and set aside until the stuck residues can be removed with soap and a sponge. For a longer-lasting product, do not place it in the dishwasher.
